Philadelphia International Airport held the 2017 Business Opportunity Forum on October 6, 2017, which featured upcoming opportunities within the new, Capital Development Program. According to the PHL press release:

"The Forum provided a platform for participants to learn about upcoming design and construction opportunities related to the Capital Development Program and receive an overview of procurement requirements and responsibilities for the Airport. The Forum opened with a Networking Exchange Breakfast, connecting prime contractors and minority firms.
The participants included representatives of large firms and small businesses, and minority-, woman-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises (DBEs) interested in learning about opportunities available at the Airport. The event, which culminated the City’s Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week activities, included informative workshops and networking opportunities."
