In case you missed it, included here are some highlights from the 2017 Business Opportunity Forum.

The presentations (links below) offered guidance on the processes PHL Airport uses to procure goods and services and solicit interest in design and construction opportunities. PHL administers a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program and works in collaboration with the city’s Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO) on how to achieve diversity goals for small businesses and Minority/Women/Disabled businesses.

The opportunities discussed in the presentations in October 2017 reflect the Airport’s plans to execute a cohesive improvement plan for the airport, renovate restrooms, modernize terminals, improve the Pavement and Grounds building, and rehabilitate the East Airfield in order to address issues of maintenance, equipment upgrades, and monitoring system improvement. Plans for improvements will factor in sustainability, technology, and the needs of customers, airlines, and tenants for terminal and airfield operations at PHL.
